Canvas giclee fine art printing

Have your favourite picture printed onto canvas. We print canvas prints using high quality equipment to ensure the art for your home looks as good now as it will in 100 years time.

Be your own Art Director – you choose the style, size, design effects and any colour preferences.

Premium Canvas Printing

We only use the best stretcher bars available. Made from winter cut, fingerjointed and laminated Baltic pine: winter cut to reduce the sap content – finger jointed to ensure a knot-free and straight bar – laminated to offer extra strength.

All our canvases receive three coatings of a satin giclée varnish, which serves to protect, preserve and enhance. The varnish acts as a UV inhibitor whilst also having the benefit of increasing the density of the print to offer deeper blacks and reds, and brighter yellows. As well as preventing the canvas from cracking during the stretching process it also offers protection against moisture and abrasion.

Our canvases are supplied neatly taped on the back, with a unique hanger which allows the canvas to sit flush against the wall, as opposed to a strung canvas which tilts away from the wall.

Our premium canvases are printed on 450gsm Chromata White, the most archival canvas on the market. Most canvases contain what are known as OBA's (Optical Brightener Agent). These however compromise true colour, deteriorate and yellow over time. Chromata White is an OBA free, acid free, thick canvas that has met and exceeded the standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild and has passed the Blue Wool Test for lightfastness.

Standard Canvas Printing

Our standard canvases are printed on 340gsm canvas material which is not archival or certified by Fine Art Guild 3, finished with a laminate. The re-tensionable bars are made from 38mm Northern Redwood Pine.
